Nursery rooms

Our nursery is furnished with large windows that provide the kids with plenty of sunshine in every room.

All group rooms are equipped to meet the individual needs of the kids – whenever needs change, so do the rooms.

We place a great deal of importance on the children’s independence; consequently the kids will find their colored pencils, crayons and paper at age-appropriate heights on our shelves, enabling them to easily take everything out and return it after use.

Whether it’s playing with playdough, painting, role play or just leafing through children’s books, there is room for everything here.

Our infant group room is decorated and equipped so as to be both cozy and safe. Each child has his or her individual spot for when it’s time to take a nap.

Our facility also features a safely equipped bounce room with a ball pit and mats for bouncing around and building shelters.

Nature

Outside our nursery there is a spacious garden/yard where we can play with water in summer and build snowmen/snowwomen in winter. And there is a sandbox where we can build castles or simply enjoy the mud.

Forest exploration days are second nature to us!

By regularly spending time in nature with them, we support the children in developing their imagination and creativity. In addition to daily nursery outings, our calendar also includes a weekly forest exploration day. This allows the kids to gather their own experiences and become aware of their environment in a simple and natural way. Children need to be able to touch, feel, hear, smell and taste things in order to absorb their environment through all their senses. By collecting various natural materials such as chestnuts, tree bark, leaves, rocks, pine cones and moss, the kids gain an insight into how the seasons progress in nature, thus expanding their range of sensory experiences.

Exercise

Once every week, too, we take the kids to the Bungertwies gym where we, in addition to helping them develop their physical skills, focus on social and developmental aspects, too. And we build in them the curiosity to try something new, allowing them to discover and encouraging them to pursue the joy of exercising in various ways.
